Last week we spent a week in the Outer Banks. It was our second time visiting there and we loved it. We had perfect weather for the whole week. It only rained one morning. Reese loved the ocean. We couldn’t get her out of it. Our house had a hot tub and a pool which both kids LOVED. Reese celebrated her sixth birthday while we were there and we celebrated with cake for breakfast. Here are a few snaps from our trip.

Her top three favorite things at the moment – swimming (she is a fish, we can’t get her out of the pool.), drawing, and popsicles.

June 9, 2010It’s hard for me to believe that Reese is finished with kindergarten. It makes me sad and it went by way too fast.

wild flowers
April 23, 2010Right now there are wild flowers blooming everywhere. Every time I spot a field of them I want to take my kids out and get some photos of them, but I never have my camera. Yesterday I decided to find a field and finally get some photos of them. I bribed them with Slurpees (their new favorite treat thanks to their dad). Here are a few photos that I got of them.

March 11, 2010After months of freezing temperatures and snow, it is actually starting to feel like spring this week. And since I haven’t taken tons of photos of my own kids over the past few months (other then snapshots around the house), I decided to take them out for some photos since it was warm.
