I just got new session albums to offer to my clients. They come in a variety of different fabric covers and in two sizes. The session album is 5×7 inches and holds 30 of your favorite images from your session. The mini album is 4×5 inches and holds 20 of your favorite images.

This the 4×5 mini album with black fabric cover.

I was reading one of my favorite blogs today and saw this post on car seat safety (click to read it). Anyone who knows me, knows that I am crazy about car seat safety, so I wanted to post this for anyone reading who maybe thinking about putting their child in a booster seat. Reese is getting to the age where I can legally put her in a booster, but I will be keeping her in a 5-point harness for as long as possible.  If you don’t want to read the post, at least click on the link Belle’s gift. Belle was 3 years old and riding in a booster seat. Her mom was in a minor accident (only going 25 mph) and Belle was killed because she was too small for the seatbelt to fit her properly. Her 7 year old sister, also in a booster, was unharmed because she was big enough for the seatbelt to fit her the way it should.

A fun picture of Reese underwater from the weekend.

And one of Finn from tonight.

Yesterday I did engagement photos for this couple who’s wedding I will be photographing in July.  This couple actually lives in Vermont, so I am glad we got a chance to meet before their big day. I saw this abandoned house with this couch on the front porch which I thought would look good in some photos.  The reflection on the doors behind them is actually the river which is across the street.

If you sent me an email on Friday or Saturday and haven’t heard back from me, please resend it. My site was down off and on and it may have affected me receiving email. Thanks.

I got an waterproof camera, so I can take it to the pool with us this summer. I tested it out on Reese today. The water was pretty cold so I didn’t get in to take any pictures of her swimming (she didn’t mind the cold even though her lips were blue and she was shivering), I just held the camera underwater, aimed at her and hoped to get her in the frame.

two in one day

May 22, 2008

Two posts in one day. I think I have a problem with posting too much. I met another one of my reps today. I play Bunco with her mom and she volunteered her daughter to be one of my senior reps. I am so glad she did. We had a lot of fun – at least I did. I really love photographing high school kids.

first & last

May 22, 2008

Today was Reese’s last day of preschool. It is so sad. I can’t believe that in one more year she will start kindergarten. Here she is on her first day of school in September 2007.

And here she is this morning. I can’t believe how much she has changed. Maybe its just that she isn’t tan and her hair darker now. She looks so much older.

Some fun ones with her fairy wings on.

Finn and I were waiting for Toys R Us to open while Reese was at school. He figured out how to put the windows down and thought it was hysterical. I love his smile.

do not feed the geese

May 21, 2008

Boo! Finn’s new thing is to hide behind things and pop out and say boo. dsc_6676ed.jpg

We met my friend Julia at City Island. Here is her sweet little girl.

When we were leaving there were tons of geese just hanging out along the river. I saw a sign that said please don’t feed the geese. Well there was this man who works at one of the food booths standing by us feeding the geese so he gave Reese a piece of bread so she could feed them. dsc_6725ed.jpg

Not the best picture, but you can see the goose taking the food right out of Reese’s hand. dsc_6721ed.jpg

And all Finn wanted to do was chase the poor geese. They would hiss at him when he got too close. dsc_6727ed.jpg

I had a session today was with a little girl who just turned one. The session was cut short because it was cold and windy. We are going to reschedule for another day and hopefully I will get to meet this little ones big sisters, too.
