Today was our last full day at the beach and of course the nicest weather of the week. All week it has been so windy that the sand would sting your legs and we had to wear sweatshirts. Today there was no wind and it was warm and so nice. The kids had a blast at the beach looking for shells and playing in the water.
Finn LOVED the ocean. He was laughing the whole time.
Today wasn’t a beach day. It was cloudy and SO windy. We walked to the beach to check out the waves this morning. Finn rode his bike there.
Later we went to my father-in-law’s favorite store – Costco. 
Then we went to check out the Barnegat lighthouse. Corey, not sure if you ever read my blog, but we drove past the guard house and I thought of you.
We are spending the week in New Jersey at a friend’s beach house. Badi’s parents came in from San Diego to spend the week with us. They had never been to an east coast beach before, so we thought it would be fun. It has been super windy so we haven’t spent too much time at the beach.

Sheri is one of my sisters best friends. They met in college when they both played water polo. Two years ago Sheri decided to move here. One night last year Sheri & Becki went to a bar in Harrisburg, Sheri saw a cute guy and Becki gave him Sheri’s phone number. He called her that night and they have been together ever since. They are getting married next July. We met up over the weekend to shoot their engagement photos.
Yesterday my best friend’s little sister got married. Amanda, I am so happy that you asked me to be your photographer. It was so fun to hang out with you and your family and friends. First, the girls getting their hair done.

The guys were so much fun. Andy’s best man was his sister. I love these shots of them hanging out behind the church.

Yesterday we got to hang out Kristy and Laira while Reese was at school. They are home because Kristy’s sister is getting married tomorrow (I am photographing the wedding). We took over Finn and Reese’s plasma cars for the kids to ride on. If you don’t have one of these, I highly recommend them. My kids love riding them.
And tomorrow Laira is going to be the cutest flower girl ever. I can’t wait to see her all dressed up!
This new mom contacted me a few weeks ago because she wanted to get photos with her son and both sets of grandparents. Her parents are actually visiting from England. The baby is just over a month old and everyone is so in love with him.
