If you follow my blog you know that my friend, Tiffany, has an Etsy store, where she sells newborn hats and cocoons. She has also decided to start making camera straps. She let me pick out one for myself last week and I love it so much, I asked her if she would give one away to a lucky blog reader. (She has lots of cool stuff in the works, so we will be doing a few of these giveaways with her awesome creations this summer.) These straps will only fit on SLR cameras. Don’t worry if you don’t have an SLR you can still enter, she also has cute little wristlet straps that will fit on any camera.  All you have to do is leave a comment at the bottom of this post (be sure to enter you email address so I can contact you if you win) before 10 PM on Sunday, May 31st telling me that you want a new camera strap and you will be entered to win. On Monday morning, I will draw a winner and the winner can pick which of these gorgeous straps (or wristlet) you want and we will ship it to you for free.

If you are wondering which one I picked, its the bottom left strap (the flowers). She does have one more cool orange flower pattern on her Esty store.

3 days

May 27, 2009

This family just welcomed their fifth baby a few days ago. I got to meet him when he was just 3 days old. His big sisters were the best helpers during the session – getting blankets and whatever I needed for him.

Over the weekend I photographed an extended family group of 15 people. I actually photographed two girls from the one family back in the winter – one for her newborn photos and the other for her senior photos.

And a few individual shots of some of the kids.

After having to reschedule this session 3 times, I finally got to meet up with these adorable 10 month old twins. I know mom and dad are probably nervous that we didn’t get any good shots, because the little boy was so engrossed with the grass that he rarely looked up at me. But when he did we got some great stuff!

at grandma’s house

May 21, 2009

This girl is going to be a senior next year. We did most of her session at her grandmother’s house. Her house had lots of fun places to take pictures, so it was the perfect location. Doesn’t this girl have the most gorgeous hair?!?

abandoned tracks

May 19, 2009

This girl is another one of my senior reps. I met up with her at a cool park near her house that has some abandoned railroad tracks. I love finding great new locations!

gorgeous little girl

May 18, 2009

This little girl is 19 months old and she was full of energy for our session. She loved climbing up all the stairs and especially loved my new pink couch and the swings at the playground.

pool time

May 17, 2009

I have been so busy with client stuff I haven’t had a chance to blog about my own kids in quite awhile. Yesterday the pool opened for the summer. The kids were so excited and couldn’t wait to go. I was a little worried about Finn. We took them to the Y a few weeks ago and he was scared to go in the “big” pool. Thank goodness he got over his fear quickly and was putting his face in and blowing bubbles.
